Johnny Foreigner Debut To See Stateside Release

The critically acclaimed debut album from Johnny Foreigner will see a Stateside release this October via Nettwerk Records. Waited Up ‘Til It Was Light has received a significant amount of praise from NME, Drowned In Sound, Pitchfork Media, and Kerrang! among others. Did I forget to mention that I find the album quite enjoyable as well? Yup, I certainly do.

Don’t just take my word for it, kids…have yourself listen if this gem hasn’t already stolen a significant amount of time in your CD player this summer. Here’s what other have had to say about the effort:

“turbo-charged, noisy, and downright promising” - NME

“Ritilan rock exploding with ideas and imagination” - Kerrang!

“domestic debut release of the year - hands down” - Drowned In Sound

Doh! You barely beat me to the punch on this one. This is one of those bands I can actually boast about. Last year I said there was no way they wouldn’t get picked up by a decent label and sure enough here we are!
