I opened a most-welcome Myspace bulletin today which informed me that The Black Ghosts have a new video! And for my favorite song on the album, no less! ‘Repetition Kills You’ features guest vocals by Damon Albarn, and I am just about the biggest Blur fan that has ever existed (to the point that I made a noise upon hearing this track that could best be described as 14 year-old girl joy).
The track will be the first official single from the forthcoming self-titled album (to be released on July 8th - preorder here), and will feature remixes by Diplo, Laidback Luke and Emperor Machine (who previously gave us a great remix of !!!). I like the Emperor remix the best, so I’ve included it below (as well as the awesome take on ‘Must Be The Moon’).
