I was only turned on to Darker My Love a short time ago, but I’m already a big fan of their special brand of dark, psychedelic pop.
Thanks to Stephen with MTVU leaving a comment in my previous post, I now have this video of ‘Two Ways Out’ to share with you. It’s one of the less fuzzed-out moments on the album, and definitely showcases their California Coast sound (the video has the added bonus of showcasing lead singer Tim Presley’s Samuel Beam beard).
The band still has several dates remaining on their US tour - including several dates in Sept w/The Dandy Warhols - and the album (titled 2) will be out August 5th on Dangerbird Records.
