The forthcoming EP from Austin’s MURDOCKS will be available April 1st via Surprise Truck Entertainment.
In true “more meat than potatoes” fashion, this stuff grabs me right by the balls and gains my undivided attention. It didn’t require repeated listens…completely fuss free, it delivered the goods the first time around. I hope you enjoy what I’ve shared as much as I did.

I wasn’t surprised to read raves about their previous releases…it’s not to hard to imagine that the Roar! EP will receive similar praise:
“If you dig dirty, swaggering power-pop tunes by cats that are as clever as they are tipsy then belly up to the bar and order a pint or two of MURDOCKS. It goes down smooth and leaves a nice afterglow.” - SLEAZEGRINDER
“Raw in the best way, with sudden hooks and gripping vocal performances at their centers.” - TAPE OP MAGAZINE (Portland, OR)
“Most of the press blurbs about the Murdocks name-drop other “garage” acts like the Strokes, or Hot Hot Heat, et al., but you know what? I call bullshit on that one. The Murdocks kick the crap out of any and all of those bands within their first few chord strums..” - SPACE CITY ROCK (Houston, TX)
“Simply loud, dirty, and catchy. Why this is not on the radio I DO NOT KNOW!” - GLORIOUS NOISE (Chicago, IL)

The Murdocks truly are awesome and definitely deserve more attention than they’ve gotten.
